13. Just went to WDW a month ago w/my daughter and had the best vacation
I think I've ever had.

I do wonder how much autonomy ABC has.

And, what is the exact makeup of Disney's board and the top execs at ABC?

5. I got dragged to Disney World when it first opened
by the parents I was visiting in Florida. When Epcot opened, they dragged me to that. It was interesting, but my pop laughed at the way I didn't buy a word of the propaganda.

My parents developed a deep and abiding hatred of all things Disney over the next three decades, mostly due to their business practices.

I was delighted to find that's one thing he skipped in his portfolio. I guess he didn't need to get richer that bad.

Those places were built for people who prefer a blandly perfect fake world to the real world.

7. I honestly do not know what has happened to my party.
We are the party of support. We help one another, we are there for each other. We are not here to make fun of each other or make anyone feel bad about themselves or anyone else. We are not the party of animosity.

Anyone who claims to be a part of our party knows how they should act. They bring something positive to the table. They reinforce good decisions, they encourage people not to make bad ones.

No one likes to be made fun of or be laughed at. Doing so appears more like someone trying to cause trouble than to bring people together and fight as one for the cause. We are one and as such we need to act that way. That is the way our party needs to be and what we should strive for.

10. Wrong!
People need to be shaken by their shirt collars and shakin' until they wake up!
People need to come out of the "corporate coma" and realize
:wtf: they've been doing to fuck themselves and their families!! :grr:

Madison Ave. Ad Exec Reveals How GOP Wins Elections
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/9/9/124753/8755

Sat Sep 09, 2006 at 12:47:53 PM EDT

This essay was written by an anonymous writer who describes himself
as a "high powered Madison Ave. advertising executive."
He uses the alias "Coty Jarrett" because many of his clients are
Republican politicians and opinion leaders.
His motive for writing the essay is simple:
he's sympathetic to the Democrats and wants to pass on privileged
information on how Republicans win elections. He conveys it in the
form of an open letter to all Democratic candidates and campaign
managers in elections this fall.

Posted in the Huffington blog.
It's a brilliant but cynical essay on the deployment of power.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here is his list of rules, in the form of an open letter to all
Democratic congressional candidates (and their campaign managers)
this fall:
snip-->
RULE FIVE (My personal favorite!) :)
Stop playing by "Marquess of Queensberry" rules.
Before you get punched, you punch. Hard. Whenever possible, you punch below the belt.
And most importantly, even after they are down, you keep punching.
George Bush. Cocaine. Alcohol. The National Guard. Deserter.
With 40 days to go before the election, there should have been 40 awful revelations
about George Bush -- one each day, each worse than the one before it.
Hint!
Stop being a candy-ass.
If you start lamenting, "I'm becoming just like THEM", you have just guaranteed their victory.'
They currently OWN the playing field. You either play by their rules or YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE.
Your job is to punch hard and neutralize their negative attacks by being just as nasty.
IF you make it back into office, THEN you can start working to reform how people get elected.
For now, you must get mean!
I concur and my posting that I think Dems who go to Disney are turncoats is just that!
THE TRUTH!! My opinion! Bunch of whoosie candy cry babies... sort of like you!
They are! They're turncoat candy asses! They talk the talk here but they don't walk the walk! :grr:
Big reason we've been loosing at the polls! And I'm sick of it!! :grr: :nuke:
They deserved a good dressing down, calling out, kick in the ASS!
Read my sig!
Elections '06 ARE HERE!!!!!!
GET OFF YOUR ARSE...AND GET BUSY!!!!!
14. I went to Disneyland once. Thought I would lose my mind in the
"It's a Small World Cave"
I would join the boycott, but I'm not sure I use or do anything with Disney and I never watch ABC. Who knows though, everyone's interconnected. I figure I'm such a lousy consumer, I don't do anyone much good.
