UPDATE from Mike's website
We have been overwhelmed by email with rumors that link the termination of the Malloy Show with the possible bankruptcy filing by Air America Radio this Friday. We have no "official" information about this, but if true, it affirms the assertion by management that we were fired for financial reasons.

Speaking of which, we will share all the details of our experiences with Air America once our financial and other mutual business issues are resolved; hopefully sooner rather than later. You deserve to know the truth.

We hope soon to be back on the airwaves, kicking GOP ass before the November elections! Your supportive email and calls and petitions are being noticed and just might hasten our return to radio. We have a couple of good radio possibilities in the works and SO appreciate your efforts and positive thoughts. Can't wait to talk with you all again!

The kitchen assistant/sous chef was complaining yesterday about how you-know-who gives him a hard time when he wants to take a break and referred to him as the kitchen nazi. I didn't mention that I have a similar pet name for him. I've been drinking lots of their coffee and giving free cups to some customers.

45. Air America Responds To Bankruptcy Rumor

AIR AMERICA RADIO has issued a statement responding to the CENTER FOR AMERICAN PROGRESS' THINKPROGRESS.ORG's report that the network is about to file for bankruptcy, saying that "if AIR AMERICA had filed for bankruptcy every time someone rumored it to be doing so, we would have ceased to exist long ago; it may be frustrating to some that this hasn’t happened. No decision has been taken to make any filing of any kind, we are not sure of the source of these rumors and frankly can not respond to every rumor in the marketplace.
