Ok, I have to share this gross piece, because I find it funny.
My dear Mom tells me tonight that the place where bushitler ate here in Phoenix, a mexican food joint called Teepee, (which used to be my favorite restaurant until he ate there, and turns out they are a bunch of repiglicans and they even commemorated the table where bushitler ate with a big plaque and picture of the freak over the table) turns out they are crawling with roaches and had to shut down to fumigate! OMG! Good thing I stopped eating there! I think bushitler had roach enchiladas and I'm just tickled pink! heh heh heh.

Then that repiglican Rachael Ray from the cooking channel, I heard on MSNBC that some of Martha Stewart's crew tried to sit in on the first episode. They were removed. hmmmmf! But Rachael Ray cooked fresh spinach in a seven minute meal on her first day! bbbbbbbbbbbbbbwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaa! Wonder if the audience ate it? mmmmmmmm. yum. e coli cola ta! yummmmmm. That's it. Carry on.

1. Come down to Tucson for some Mexican food at Mi Nidito.
I've heard that they have a Bill Clinton commemorative booth. :)

2. I was once at Emmett's Steak House on 8th Avenue in NYC
with some people from a company with which I was doing some consulting work.

Emmett's is pretty high-end and these folks were really (unbeknownst to me) conservative.

The joint was oversold but we got a table thanks to the concierge at my hotel.

Sat down and had a couple of drinks when I looked over my shoulder at the wall behind me to see an autographed photo of poppy and bar.

Told my clients that I couldn't stay there with that jerkoff looking over my shoulder and told them to enjoy the meal, it was on me.

Told them if they needed me I would be at Smith's Old Bar across the street.

Woman said that she did not appreciate my use of that word to describe "President Bush".

Told her to go fuck herself, I was going to Smith's and they could find me there if they were so inclined.

Never saw them again.

Lost the contract, too.

And I was living on that one at the time.

I would do it again, today.

Tom

9. I wish that you had been there.
My cost of the meal and drinks - maybe $400.

The look on their faces - priceless.

5. There used to be this hole-in-the-wall
Mexican restaurant in Tolleson years ago. Best food you would ever want to eat, but the place was old and kind of run down.
Will definitely have to look for it when I come down this December. It is literally the yardstick for all Mexican food I eat, and I am a Mexiholic.
However, I ate at what was "supposed" to be the best Mexican food in Phoenix last time I was down and wasn't at all impressed. It may have been Teepees? Kind of downtown? You had to make reservations?
Maybe I was catching those Repiglican vibes...
If you ever come to Texas--I'll show you what real Mexican food is supposed to taste like.

15. Sorry so late in responding. Had to take my boy to the library.
Nope Teepee is on the east side and no reservations required. This red state has 'em everywhere though so you were probably get the right vibes and the heebeejeebees too! I consume mass quantities of mexican food and if I ever get to Texas, I will certainly take you up on that offer! yeaya babee!

6. NOoooooo!!!
Not the Teepee! Good thing I haven't been there in a while (we're in east Mesa). Dang, I need to read more on DU to know what's going on. And my daughter loves Rachel Ray, but she's used spinach in the last several days, making me laugh. I do wish she'd tone it down a notch. Her voice grates on me.
