Yesterday's surprising acquittal of deposed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein on all counts has been linked to policies and procedures developed and used by former president George W. Bush, Lionel Thrush, a legal analyst with the Legal Analysis Institute for Legal Analysis, said today. Following his release, Saddam Hussein, now a free man, thanked Bush effusively with the words "if it were not for that bean-brained buffoon, I would be hanging from a tree right now" before announcing his candidacy for Iraqi president.

1. Since the day Saddam was captured...

I've said that he'll have a talk show on a major network by 2010. I'm thinking It'll be something like Maury or Oprah, where he gets extraordinarily rendered ex-detainees and their captors/torturers to meet and reconcile their differences.

Shows will have titles like "You waterboarded me, but I forgive you," and "We fell in love at Abu Ghraib, but our parents just don't understand".
