Hotline review of "Can Mr. Smith Get to Washington Anymore?"
http://hotlineblog.nationaljournal.com/archives/2006/09/post_75.html#more

Hotline reviewed the film I co-produced. We are fairly happy with the review. The Washington Post is supposed to be reviewing it for tomorrow's paper. That will be the first major natiopal paper review for us. Keep your fingers crossed, we are very nervous about it right now.

We open in DC on Sept. 22nd and Palm Desert and Atlanta on September 29th. If you guys know anyone in those cities, please tell them about our movie. Word of mouth has been our best advertising so far.

2. It's funny, but when someone is talking about my work, I fixate on
anything negative and don't hear anything positive. I was initially upset that they thought we did not spend enough time discussing the details of grassroos campaigning, but I think if we had done that, we would have a very small audience for the movie.

4. AWESOME and EXCELLENT movie
Saw it at its St Louis premier this summer. Jeff Smith was there as well and he's a cutie!! Unlike George Allen I don't think Jeff Smith is ashamed of being Jewish.

Right now he's going to Jefferson City and will serve alongside some good progressives like Jeanette Mott Oxford.

5. It was nice meeting you at the premiere in St. Louis.
We just got our Washington Post Review today: http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?node=cityguide/profile&id=1125257&categories=Movies&nm=1

So far we haven't had any really bad reviews and most have been fairly good.
