4. He is stepping up to the plate lately. His quiet and deliberate manner
can be frustrating but somebody has to present that way for a balanced attack. His constituents have been onto President Botch for a long time now and he has their support.

A key point he made last night was that the administration asked for expanded wiretapping powers when the Resolution on Iraq was voted on - Congress REJECTED the request. This gave the lie to Gonzales' position that the wiretapping approval was implicit in the Resolution.

Bush was specifically rebuffed on the domestic spying request.
