In the last decade of Republican control America has learned

Intense Hatred and intense Fear. Republicans breed these emotions. I long for the days of a United States of America. Days when Amercans slept well at night and did not live in constant fear. Days when the world loved America and aspired to become like America. You remember those days? Days when the Democrats controlled Congress. America can once again live up to it's once upon a time good reputation. Become once again the "Home of the Brave" and vote Democratic. You won't believe the relief you will feel.

...about America (not because of anything substantial policy-wise, on his part, mind you. He just had a good PR team).

I can't name ANYONE I know, Dem or ReNAMBLAcan, who is proud of what we've become in 2006.
