"My husband's job site was ambushed last week, and although no one was hurt, it has prompted a lot of these reflections. It was a terrible question to ask: If, God forbid, he had been hurt, what would it have been for? I read an article in Rolling Stone recently, about a reporter riding with some soldiers here in Iraq. He put it into words perfectly."

I'm kicking this, because I think it is important to read some first-hand accounts from the men and women who are actually over there. Some very heart-wrenching posts there. Not necessarily sad, per se, just stuff that really puts it in perspective.

This is very cool project of Trudeau's (maybe he helped fund it with the reward money he never had to pay out to any person who actually served with George Bush). Please keep this k&r'd. 'kay?
