What is this, some hybrid between penis and Don Shula? I've heard words commonly mispronounced because they are part of the vernacular, but has ANYONE ever heard "peninshoola" before? Idiot.

he was a transplant from Illinois. He also told us to warsh our hands. His wife also pronounced those words that way, though.

No, I think the drunken chimpanzee explanation fits better.
