They're down now but they were $1.46 in January 2001. Today they're $2.23, an increase of 53%

And yes they'll go up even more after the election.

The Decider only looks good when his performance is compared to some of his own failures that are even worse.

7. Sure! Right before the election, the "Iranians" will attack....
....a US oil tanker. That gives the Greedy Oil Party an excuse to invade Iran and raise gas prices both at the same time!! Woo-hoo!

Though I read recently that even the Opec cutback in production will not reduce the glut of fuel on the market in the short-term.
