Seattle's Progressive Talk AM-1090 is excited by the recent announcement that The Mike Malloy radio show is returning to radio as part of the newly formed progressive talk radio network "novaM Radio."

5. I don't know if WR will be
streaming (they aren't mentioned anywhere as a streaming option) but they will apparently continue to host the archives. Whis is great.

The really odd thing is that these stations are AAR stations. Nova M is a seperate network I know but why the hell didn't AAR just keep Malloy. I listen to Mark Riley before going to work. I've tried to listen to The Young Turks but I find them annoying. I listen to Sam Seder if I'm home from work and I like Rachel Maddow. After her show goes off AAR has nothing worth listening to - the guy they have in Mike's spot is dull its not Peter Werbe I like Peter - its John Eliot. I remember when he was on fillng in for Mike sometimes and I couldn't listen for more than a half hour. Franken - BORING. Randi - she's good but she even jumps on callers who are on our side.

11. Some great news for San Diego listeners:
According to this blog, http://malloyspeaks.livejournal.com

I just received an e-mail from the am1360 KLSD Program Director Cliff Albert. In my e-mail I asked if he was planning on airing the new Malloy show. This was his response:

"He will be on soon every evening!"

Big Kudos go out to PD Cliff Albert. I don't know if he means next week when the show starts on October 30th or sometime thereafter.

Needles-to-say I am very pleased...Good Luck with the new show and the new network Mike!!

Ironically, KLSD is where Jon Elliot, the replacement for Mike in his former Air America time slot, is broadcasting from.
