Ick. If I were better, I'd be there with several signs. Unfortunately, the Granholm rally wore me out yesterday.

26. Funny thing about that....
No I don't believe in the tabloids but occasionally they get something right. I'm a roadie for a country and western singer and there was a story in the Enquirer about her sleeping with her guitar player. My wife showed it to me and I laughed and told her it was total tabloid bullshit. Well, the very next week there was a new guitar player on the road with us. Turns out the story was true, just goes to show you that a broken clock is still right twice a day ;)

35. I look at like this
These tabloids are at hundreds of thousands of venues. People see them while heading up to the register as they pay for their gasoline or their groceries. I was standing in a long line at the grocery store when I first saw.

Sometimes people see the headlines several times a week and it starts to subliminally get into their heads. I saw it several times. When I was at the grocery store, when I was filling up my car and when I stopped to grab some coffee at a convenience store.

Finally, remember that the Clinton love child with a black hooker story was first printed in the Globe. It later showed up in "Primary Colors" and RW mythology. The tabloids turned Gary Condit's life upside down and they torpedoed Gary Hart back in the '80's. I'm glad they are finally going after the Bush family.

this. Will W then marry Condie? I think that would be great!

12. Actual headline
I saw at the grocery store the other day and almost bought a copy of the issue. The lady in line in front of me saw it too and she started giggling and said "I don't know how she crawls into bed with that monster."

11. Happens When Two Women Call The Same Man "my husband"
.... at the same time.

Condi Rice has never explained how she could have made the mistake of referring to Bush as "her husband" at a public venue --especially since she has never been married!

I guess she just "felt" like she was married to George. Went all tingly or something ... makes you wonder how her judgment could be affected as Sec of State.

Has 'Pickles' ever commented on Condi's reference to "her husband" ?????
I bet that went over well the next time she saw George. LOL

27. Does Pickles ever call him that?
Only comments I've ever heard from her always refer to him as "the President" - which has always creeped me out, considering how much he hates being referred to as anything else.

13. It doesn't really say anything substantial
It just says "Bush divorce papers" not "Laura filed divorce papers". Just a misleading headline.

19. It doesn't say she filed
It says she's ready to file. Whether that's true or not, I don't know. But it doesn't say she filed divorce papers so I don't see what you think is misleading about it.

If every headline I saw in the supermarket check out had any truth behind it, Bill and Hillary would have gone their separate ways years ago.

is I told my mother about this and she pointed out how in recent months you haven't seen Laura walking around the White House lawn with her dog(s) and I remember too not seeing her much around. So I do think this story is probably true.

33. that's because she's been out campaigning non-stop
take a look at Pickles schedule for the past couple of months. She's done more campaign appearances than chimpy. This is silly Globe shit not worthy of the minimal bandwidth it takes up and just makes us look silly to be acting like its reliable information.

Or put it this way: its as reliable as the current headline:
