Just dismiss any RW talking points they use with this: The republicans in power have lost all CREDIBILITY. They stand for NOTHING. They did not keep their word, they have not lived up to ANY initiative they brought forward for their platform. They've been in control for years and have accomplished NOTHING but WASTE TAXPAYER MONEY HALIBURTON, they've LOST THE WAR ON TERROR by taking their eye off the real target, and got us into the quagmire of Iraq, all because A REPUBLICAN CONGRESS DECIDED TO CORONATE BUSH WITH UNBRIDLED POWER. You want to live in a DICTATORSHIP, VOTE REPUBLICAN. If you LOVE AMERICA, You'll vote DEMOCRATIC.

"All politicians are corrupt. There is no difference. The only reason Republicans are getting in trouble, is because they have all the power. When Democrats have all the power, they will be just as corrupt. Who wants to bribe someone who has no power?"

To which, the correct reply is:

"You're absolutely right. What self-respecting under-age Congressional Page wants to be molested by someone without political power? What self-respecting cocktail waitress wants to be raped by someone without political power? What self-respecting mistress wants to be beaten and strangled by someone without any power? And why would someone without political power expose themselves to children at a shopping mall?"
