Has the Media finally started smelling blood?
Seems like they have become less fawning and subservient and less accepting of Rethug spin during the past few weeks. Are the Rethugs headed for a tipping point at which they will be so weakened that the media will feel empowered to go on the attack?

1. Not yet, unfortunately......
Our fourth estate is still treading lightly.

I want them to rediscover their "Lewinsky" mindset.

2. No way. Don't even think it. We're talking GE-Microsoft, Murdoch,

Time-Warner, Disney Viacom etc. These are war mongers and rights theives. These people are not going to support Democrats over night or even over four years. Did you watch during the 90's?. A decade of attack on Dems and now we're six years into the 2000's and they are stil loyal and activist partners with the right wing to destroy our country. THEY TAKE ORDERS FROM THE WHITE HOUSE AND RNC!

I give them no leash. The quandry is why GE Microsoft is tolerating Olberman. I think it is only profit. Someone told them they had to have someone like him with his own authentic opinions, but who would be countered in his own opinions by right wing rah-rahing from Crawford, Millbank, etc., plus all the other right wing hosts and the endless list of right wing experts.

They got rid of Donahue and Grodin and they reduced Carville and Begala's 11 minutes times five days a week on Crossfire (11 minutes after subtracting right wing time and commercials on the half hour show).

Where were their invitations to Gore and Kerry and the Independents during the campaigns? Where were they when Clinton gave a speech - they only covered the scandals and pictures of him walking with his hymnal/bible. George gets every minute - even the take-offs' of his jet - every damn minute and Clinton got nothing in comparison.

My advice - do not trust them. They will immediately begin the attack if Dems manage to squeeze by the vote thefts to take back a House or two. Coverage was nothing compared to their lies about Dems - and their outright contempt and snears - giggling and the entire range of derision.

The Supreme Court is GE Microsoft Time-Warner Murdoch Disney Viacom approved.

All their stockholders also approve of the Dem cut-outs and attacks.
