Dems who will vote "No" but not support filibuster are beyond contempt
I'm speaking to you Biden, Salazar, Landreau, Lincoln, Akakai, and the rest of you spineless wonders, who don't seem to understand that in this case voting "NO" isn't enough. But then again maybe you understand all too well.

3. No because they aren't being honest

If they really believe he shouldn't be on the court they shouldn't allow him to go on without a fight. They might as well just vote "yes" because they know that not voting NO is not enough.

5. what if they know a fillibuster isnt enough either.
so they are suppose to vote filibuster, knowing it is not enough. then because we know alito is still going in MUST they then walk off the floor like walt starr suggest, in order for them to be honest about their filibuster vote. a never ending set up of our dem officials,....... no way they can ever appease their people, like some are suggesting they are doing with a filibuster in the first place

7. This isn't usual business this is a lifetime position with many
ramifications--Roe is just one of them. I think that we would be stronger if the people in our party who say they would vote "NO" then would back it up by saying that they would also filibuster or support a filibuster if it came down to that.

8. this is the repercussion for voting bush. why we worked our ass off
of course there are ramifications beyond roe vs wade. we KNEW bush was going to slant the court. there was no question about it. he campaigned on this. this is the result of being the under dog

11. no it isnt. it is a vote for cloture. the vote for alito is the no vote.
i mean you change definition, you change fact and then you put your foot down and say that is the way it is. still a lie

repugs do the same thing. they have all kidns of belief, reasons,....... but oinion and fact are two very different things

because you say it, doesnt make it so, not even for you, though it may comfort you. still a lie.

adults, and we cant even figure out lie and truth...... fact and opinion. and we wonder why our country is fucked up

12. your right Walt, a vote for cloture is a vote FOR Alito
people talk about consequences for actions when we vote, well the same thing applies in congress.

There are consequences for Dems actions if they vote for cloture.
