Senator Kerry,

I have just one message for you. If you have done your political homework and lead the filibuster of this radical judge, you are the hero America wants, needs, and craves. You were not my first choice in '04, you will be in 08. I will work my ass for you in the primaries, I will donate more than I can even afford, I will write your name into every ballot I can find - even my local mayor's race - because this country needs you this much.

In the last 24 hours, my family and friends have typed our fingers off, burned up the phone lines, and cried our eyes our while we supported your filibuster plans. It has been very stressful and heart wrenching, but this great nation is worth saving. I know thousands of fellow DU-ers have done the same. For all the differences we may have had in the past, this is your time to stand up and stand out. Our hopes lie with you.
