NAYSAYERS, SIT DOWN & BE QUIET - FIGHTERS- PERSEVERANCE QUOTES FOR YOU!

Babe Ruth: It is hard to beat a person who never gives up.

B. C. Forbes: History has demonstrated that the most notable winners usually encountered heartbreaking obstacles before they triumphed.

Herodotus:
Some men give up their designs when they have almost reached the goal; While others, on the contrary, obtain a victory by exerting, at the last moment, more vigorous efforts than ever before.

Unknown author:
Quitting is only a short cut to losing.

Josephus Daniels:
Defeat never comes to any man until he admits it.

QUOTES FROM MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. - WHO WOULD EXPECT US TO FIGHT UNTIL THE BITTER END

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.

When you are right you cannot be too radical; when you are wrong, you cannot be too conservative.

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT

3. I don't have any problem with fighting at all.
My only problem is with the doom and gloom, "I'm going to disaffiliate from the party if we don't do this" people who don't obviously understand the first thing about politics or they wouldn't be saying that in the first place. While we should absolutely fight, people do have to understand the odds of this are long, and as such, do-or-die statements are flat out idiotic.

9. Add this gem by Calvin Coolidge on Persistence
"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent." Calvin Coolidge
