Honestly, I think all across the country there were millions of folks who voted Dem for the first time in a long time (or even the first time ever) and they took the shortcut -- straight Democratic ticket. That'll catch a lot of "safe" candidates and sink them rather quickly.

27. I just talked to the campaign

and unfortunately they know nothing about this and told me they have been fighting voting irregularities all day including a trip by John Laesch to court to keep a couple of polling places in Kane County open late because of voting machine problems - and then the judge ruled that they leave ALL polls open in Kane county and than fat ass Hastert did a fast robo call to get his voters out - apparently most of Kane county is pretty red. If you have a link it would be great to see it

I've been rooting for John since I first heard him on Bob Kincaid's show in early September - I don't live in IL...but I love this guy he is an inspiration....
