Bush attacking Iran...
You think Bush will atttack and invade Iran before his term is up, as an act of desperation?

1. No Longer
Bush's power was cut substantially by the election, AND its aftermath. The biggest change in my book was bringing in Gates, Baker and Scowcroft. Conservative warmongering men . . . but not fools.

The fools (other than the biggest fool) have been replaced by DADDY'S MEN.

4. Still, it's in his nature...
and regardless of Congress and his poppie's men, he's still President and Commander in Chief--there's nothing to stop him other than his own concerns for the outrage of the people (which, for any sane person would be enough, but for he who bristles at being told what he can and cannot do... one wonders).

5. Bush had 2 options before the election
Attack Iran or go quietly. He's demoted Cheney and decided to go quietly.

Thank Goddess!

If nothing else to leave it off to the incomming dems to deal with the aftermath.
