It's quiet out there...
Maybe too quiet, but then maybe ya'll are Xmas shopping, or maybe fixing dinner about now...but it seems quiet news-wise as well...but sometimes no news is good news. Like many of you, though, I am fearful of something terrible happening between now and the Dems in control. Arghh! The Tin Foil Hat is stuck on me head!

1. You silly goose.. Don't you know by now that nothing newsworthy
ever happens on Friday, Saturday or Sunday?

Thats' when the cable networks run their re-runs of the previous week's "shows"..and when MSRNC plays all its "Prison-Open-House" shows..

How could they squeeze in any news..??

7. I was worried too. I was sure they'd steal it again. Took the day
of and day after the elections off. It is going to take another election cycle before people in Florida (those that haven't been forced out by insurance premium robbery) get wise to the fact the Republicans at the state level are just as evil as the ones in D.C.

3. I have no idea where folks are
I know that our regular Dances of Universal Peace meeting was canceled due to heavy snow. And no one came to the talk on Stem Cell Research at Future Visions Foundation this afternoon. I'm wondering if everyone just feels like going into a cocoon and not coming out until things get better....

9. Its been a very slow news....
..Months hasnt it?

Since November 8th, I have seen some worthless news stories on the right-wing con-media front. Its nothing for them to talk shit all day long, but they seem to be even more lost as of late.

When I watch Democracy Now and Mosaic, there is always something happening. News that should be on mainstram media, but I am not surprised by the fact that they are not reporting on Qaxaxa Mexico's ordeal and portest or even responsible Iraq reporting either. The Maliki and Bush meeting was sold as being a "Good thing" when in here in reality, Maliki and his Governemt have NO authority and neither does BushCo. Al-Sadr has the authority and controls the malitias in Iraq. Do they ever mention this on the right-wing spin-media wire? hell no.

Mainsteam media makes me ill and it is dumbing America down at ligh speed. I make myself watch it just so I can compare it the real news and it never failes to amazme how full of shit mainstream media garbage is.

10. It's always quiet just before the storm
Perhaps people are in a state of shock , after all we have been beaten up for 6 years .

I still have a fear that the storm could be something bad around late Dec . I just don't have much faith in politicians after all this horror . There are still hundreds being murdered in their so called war on terror and whether we realize it or not big brother is here .

Weekends always seem slow on most sites but it has been slower than normal since the elections .
