I'm hearing reports that the UN is erupting in celebration
People working there are spontaneously breaking into dance, singing uncontrollably, and placing multiple orders for champagne.

Anyone know why?

8. Yep.
Most of us have probably had the experience of having an aggressive jerk as a co-worker, and can relate to the pleasure of hearing that they have been canned.

5. Kofi Annan was spotted doing a triple Lutz, followed by a two-footed landing...
...I don't know what's going on either, but you can be sure of one thing:

It's HUGH!

11. Joe wouldn't do it.
Edited on Mon Dec-04-06 09:58 AM by Kelly Rupert
Choice A: Spend six more years as one of the most powerful men in Congress, with both parties treating him like a king, and a political future after that stretching on as long as he likes.

Choice B: Spend two years as a relative nobody, arguing fruitlessly and endlessly over trivial but complex affairs in a neutered body, with no political future to speak of after that.

Joe won't give up his seat to be SecDef, or UN Ambassador, or anything else Bush might try to appoint him to being. He wouldn't surrender his seat even when his own party asked him to--why would he for anyone else?

13. Think of it in terms of hugs though!
Joe could get hugs and kisses every day!

for Joe, the Senate is a goddamn hug buffet, complete with unlimited kiss refills.

17. And Joe didn't learn a fucking thing!
That's the too bad part! The asskissers in Washington will get the wrong message! The people wanted Joe out, because he kissed Bush's ass, but Karl and the GOP money thwarted the people's attempt to send a real message to all other weak kneed turds like Joe.

18. He learned one thing:
In a state with a marginalized Republican party, a Democrat can do well in the polls by emphasizing his center and right credentials while reminding Democrats of his solid record on domestic issues. Which is unfortunate for us.

21. So much so, that the greens are really right in his case...
"You can't tell the the difference between the democrat and the republican." That's why real democrats rejected Joe's whorish advances to BushCo.

Joe could have seen the error in his ways, had he looked at the votes he didn't get, when he ran for president. Instead of learning from that, Joe ramped up the repub ass kissing and had it not been for Rove's cash, Joe would be out of a job, as he should be

22. Sure Joe quits and a Republican Governor appoints a GOP Replacement
and we're stuck with a Republican Senate. Right now we need Joe whether we like him or not

15. It's true: the walrus-mustached midget is OUT!
I actually walked by him once when i was out on business in Turtle Bay -- by my estimate, he and Kim Jong-Il are about the same height.
