Cops look for prankster who may have poisoned himself

MILWAUKEE -- Authorities on Sunday were inspecting a mannequin -- found hung from the top of a 1,200-foot television tower -- for evidence that could lead them to the person who left the doll dangling there.

On Saturday, after the mannequin was found, Milwaukee police said the culprit may have radiation poisoning due to hanging the mannequin near the tower. snip

The suspect would likely have been exposed to microwaves emitted from the tower, which could cause radiation poisoning, Schwartz said.

''This person may be getting very sick,'' she said.

She urged any individuals involved to see a doctor.

Usually "radiation poisoning" refers to exposure to ionizing radiation from radioactive materials. He might have tried to cook himself like the gerbil in a microwave.
