Great story on MSNBC: aborted fetus used to save a boy's life (vote in the poll)
Edited on Mon Dec-11-06 10:29 PM by antiimperialist
Two parents have accepted donated aborted fetuses from women who had abortions to be used to try and save their 6 year old who has a rare disease.
This is a great story, and it includes a poll that asks you how far you would go to save a loved one.

1. That should get the fundies' panties in a nice big knot.
BTW, did you mean "a great story" instead of "a great disease"?

4. And the 9% who wouldn't do it are full of it
Those among that 9% that do not have mental problems would not hesitate in doing anything possible to save their son's or daughter's life.

5. I Thnk Of Organ Donation
In some ways, this seems like disconnecting the life support of a brain dead person and "harvesting" their organs. Some people still consider it immoral, others - ven religious people - say saving a life is the biggest mitzvah.

I don't think any one who isn't in the position of these parents has no call to judge. How many people who would condemn these parents for supporting the "murder" of "babies" would kill to protect their own child(ren)?

7. Note: These aren't human embryonic cells
the ones transplanted into the kid.
But just the fact that they come from an aborted fetuses is enough for the irrational right to oppose the procedure.
