Estrogens are female hormones. If you're a woman, you're flooding your system with a substance it can't handle in surplus. If you're a man, you're suppressing your masculinity and stimulating your "female side," physically and mentally.

Soy, along with yams have a chemical that is a close cousin to estrogen. About a decade ago, I heard about a study on why US women had a greater difficulty with menopause than most other cultures. And the study concluded that American women weren't necessarily wimps and winers but were chemically deprived of this estrogen-like substance. They blamed it on their absence of yams and soy product in our diets. Since that time, I have told women who complain about hot flashes and mood swings to add tofu and yams to their diets and most stop complaining. I, myself, never experienced a hot flash.
