15. Unlawful conduct
Unlawful conduct was the charge

excerpt from the Washington Post story

Sheehan, the mother of a fallen soldier in Iraq who reinvigorated the anti-war movement, was handcuffed and charged with unlawful conduct, according to Capitol Police Sgt. Kimberly Schneider. The charge was a misdemeanor and Sheehan was being released on her own recognizance, Schneider said.

Schneider said Sheehan had worn a T-shirt with an anti-war slogan to Tuesday night's speech and covered it up until she took her seat. Police warned her that such displays were not allowed in the House chamber, but she did not respond, the spokeswoman said.

Rep. Lynn Woolsey, D-Calif., gave Sheehan her only ticket earlier in the day _ Gallery 5, seat 7, row A _ while Sheehan was attending an "alternative state of the union" news conference by CODEPINK, a group pushing for an end to the Iraq war.

18. But what exactly is that charge? It's bullshit.
"Unlawful conduct." What the hell is that, a catch all for anything not covered by a specific statute? Seems mighty vague and ambiguous to me. I want to see the specific statute she is charged with violating.

Lol!

If it wasn't the shirt, it would have been something else. No way was she going to sit in that audience, BushCo would not allow it.

Unlawful conduct, my baldheaded granny.

46. Exactly what is unlawful about it?
Would they have liked it better if she had taken off the shirt? Then we could have had indecent exposure. (And yes, I know. She could have covered it up.)

This whole ominous incident really scares me.

45. Well is a deep subject.
I just meant that even though it doesn't really offend me, this sort of an application for that rather generic joke seems a little over the top.

The effect of this criminal Misadministration's tragic, misdirected, horribly flawed and destructive Armageddon-inciting 'Iraq Policy' and their continued insistence on the BIG LIE that this religious-fascist World War III over the 60 year old unresolved partition of Palestine constitutes a far more dangerous, and ever escalating threat to the very survival of this entire planet.

All we have gotten out of this corrupt, criminal military-industrial violence, petty bloodthirsty vengeance and abject failure to genuinely fight both sides for peace there is the death of Our 1st Amendment

Beverly Young, wife of Rep. C.W. Bill Young of Florida chairman of the House Defense Appropriations subcommittee was removed from the gallery because she was wearing a T-shirt that read, "Support the Troops Defending Our Freedom."
Of course this will be used to make Cindy's arrest AOK.
Maybe we should just come out w/ a line of t-shirts called plainly-
"Illegal Wear"
The ad campaign could be-The underwear you can't see. Want to be manhandled- wear Illegal Wear. Illegal Wear- Not for public consumption
