Holy crap - even my ultra-conservative boss said arresting Cindy was wrong
Damned - he obviously doesn't agree with her or her stance, but even he said that it was bullshit to arrest her, that it was a matter of free speech.

But then I had some dimwit co-worker say that it was justified, because she would have "been causing a ruckus" and yelling out while Bushie was speaking. She was like "we just can't have that sort of thing". It pretty much took all I could muster not to go off on her, but in the interest of civility, I held my tongue. But goddamned...

11. "Real" or "true" conservatives barely exist
And most of them know deep down that much of their ideology is a lie

2. A true conservative respects individual rights.
The Neocons are not even remotely related to real conservatism.

4. Perhaps the message is getting thru....
The First Amendment has been slowly eaten away...when it starts to effect the neocons, then maybe the sheeple will wake up.

5. Yeah, this was a PR blunder
If her shirt had been obscene or just covered with nasty slogans, they'd get more support.

However, since it was just a black shirt with a NUMBER, as soon as the photos get out, the heavy handed treatment of Sheehan will backfire.

Bullies just never get it, do they?

8. That's exactly what I thought
How exactly did she know that Cindy would have caused a ruckus? She certainly didn't go out kicking and screaming, did she? If she had wanted to cause a stir, that would have been the perfect opportunity, wouldn't it?

7. Your co-worker is scary. True Bu$hbot. Custom fit the lie to justify
their dementia.

Bu$h wasn't even in the room.

9. Kind of like the Tom Cruise movie where it's OK for the police to
go back in time and arrest criminals before they even commit their crimes?

10. And, had she disrupted, she should have been removed
But she didn't.

But, I guess that neocon Bush Loyalist is just being consistant.

Sheehan might disrupt, so we pre-emptively must arrest her before she gets the chance, right??

12. Bill Frist and crew were being 'disruptive' - times when Dear Leader
had to stop His most Glorious speech to let that awful ruckus and yelling out die down. It was horribly disrespectful and they should all be imprisoned for the rest of the Bush Dynasty (blessed be Their most holy Name)

Hey, I was walking down the street the other day. Maybe I should have been arrested because I "might have abducted and raped a little girl" . . .

Edited to add:

In fact, use that defense on your freepturd co-worker - she could be arrested because she might have killed someone . . .
