A backhanded compliment to the Viet Nam era...

As fucked up as the Viet Nam war was, we as a nation were still able to land human beings on the moon and return them safetly home.

However, here we are in Iraq, only one nth the size of the Viet Nam war and we can't even properly help New Orleans rebuild.

THAT in a nut shell is a glaring example of how truly fucked up this country is.
