3. All the weathermen need to be fired
Last time they said the blizzard would start 24 hours earlier than it actually did, and this time they said it would start later, and be worse than it has been. Why do we pay these guys?

5. 8 to 10 inches of snow is bad enough for me.
We may have a few more inches tonight and tomorrow. It will take a month to melt all this stuff away.

13. My favorite was last night, when they said we'd get
7 to 14 inches, which when I looked out my window was about accurate. They get it right, once the storm is over..

7. Snow packed but roads are clear...
Flights in should be ok... No driving east to Kansas, though.

9. I just shoveled 14" off my driveway - again
You don't need a health club membership if you live near the foothills. And March is the snowiest month!

Main roads are clear and airport is open but cancelling some flights.

11. So true about the club membership!
We just finished our driveway. Took two of us an hour. Tomorrow we will tackle the sidewalks. We live on a corner lot so that will be another hour or so.

I actually enjoy shoveling snow, but maybe not quite this much! ;)

:hi:

10. update
some flights are delayed - some parts of the airport not fully functioning? My friend's flight is running about one hour late, so far. Finally got through on airlines website - duh use the internets tubes - they don't clog with snow!

12. My daughter's flight into Denver has been cancelled twice.
She was supposed to fly in from Newark via Dallas last night and it was postponed until tonight. Now that flight has been cancelled. The American agent told her that the airport is closed and not accepting flights until Sunday. They put her and her fiance on a flight tomorrow to Colorado Springs -- we hope. We're visiting our daughter in Morrison and drove up yesterday with her sister and her fiance.

I think she was lied to. I can't find anything on the Denver news saying that the airport is closed. They've only mentioned some delays.
