Saddam's execution accomplishes zilch, nothing!
If anything it shows what a failure the * admin has been. His trial was supposed to herald some sort of democracy in Iraq. Iraqis were supposed to see how "justice" works and then embrace it. Well, last time I looked, Iraq just keeps getting more and more violent while pretzelnut sits in my state "thinking" about his new direction. :eyes:

I have no love for Saddam. He was a disgusting tyrant, but his death will only polarize an already polarized and traumatized country.

1. Ah but it accomplishes a huge amount.
For the BFEE. One less witness. Just like the cover-up of 911. Crime scene? Only if it is convenient to the state.

4. True
His death was a foregone conclusion when he was caught.

6. Bush has fugged up everything he has touched
Edited on Fri Dec-29-06 09:42 PM by malaise
This is a horrible night for anyone who actually believes in international law. Bush does not give a fuck about any opinion outside of his own. He is an evil piece of scum. Indeed he makes Saddam look decent.

Karma is coming for you George Bush and I can't wait.

Edit. Sp.

2. Yea isn't its Ironic
We removed him to bring "freedom and stability(well that was reason 27)" to Iraq, and the place is so unstabe that they have to excecute on the sly in order to minimize the violence that will occour in the aftermath.

3. Exactly.
Hell, now the military is on "high alert" as if it weren't already. I heard someone from American University on the Jim Leherer saying that it was ironic the way this all panned out. Ironic? I'd say it is downright disgusting and pathetic.

5. If this war ends before Bush's term is up, then all those military
that can't talk about it will be able to and that won't be good for Bush.

8. Another irony....
we very well could reach the very tragic milestone of 3000 American soldier deaths on the same day. Death toll now stands at 2996, I believe.
