What Is Your Life Going To Be Like Tomorrow?
Edited on Mon Jan-08-07 07:22 PM by MoseyWalker
We all have so many passionate feelings, and thoughts, about the world "at large", but what will you be doing, or thinking about, tomorrow?

Yes, congress is going to be playing their usual games. and.

I have to go back to another 24/7 period of time taking care of a brother with a brain tumor.

Yes, we are being lied to incessantly by many, and our brains are almost twisted around backwards by the hypocrisy.

I have to help my brother to get home from radiation.

Yes, the president is likely to again say and do something stupid that will cause the death of more innocents.

I have to live through my brother having a tumor induced seizure.

Yes, the world is falling apart around us. It is nothing new.

Take care of those close to you. Take care of those around you. One by one.

and things will get better.

Peace.

3. You and your brother are in my thoughts, MoseyWalker.
DU kind of pales in comparison to the good, selfless job you are doing, and I'm sure your bro and family are grateful.

thanks, but not for me or my piddly problems
thanks to everyone who is dealing with LIFE, and not only struggling through it, but making something positive happen.

Every little thing we do adds to the positive. Every little thing we do causes other positive things to happen. We only have to pay attention.

thanks, and

Peace

8. yep. but
who are we and who are they. I don't get your point?

We surely don't need more anger or misunderstanding, or words spoken without knowledge.

We need people who understand peace, the meaning.

9. We have something in common:
I don't get your reply (point) either.

My comment was meant simply as an acknowledgment; nothing more. (Maybe you had to be here?)

7. Mosey, I walked down a road very similar to yours.
I know how hard it is. Cherish your brother & don't forget to take care of yourself. You both will be in my thoughts.

11. Good on ya, MoseyWalker
My sister was just declared well after being diagnosed with the same condition as your bro, in late 2005. It was a tough time.
Best wishes to you and your brother.

don't believe in Bush's handling of the war! This is like giving your 8 yearold the keys to the family car because he grinned and said; "trust me'...

14. tomorrow-
I will continue to be the caregiver for my husband, who is on dialysis. I have to make sure he is eating...anything. He almost stopped eating for a while. And make sure he well enough to walk.

Then I have to check in with my goddaughter: she is 18, bipolar, and watching her mother die from liver cancer.

...know where you are coming from, M.W., hang in there.

15. For me,
I will continue to deal with by bad back,I will get frustrated with my mom,and her untrained dog..I will be hoping for my male chest reconstruction, and I will feel like killing myself at least once during the day..And several times my cats will take my heart away or dazzle me by doing something beautiful.I might do some art watch TV or walk outside.

But really I dunno what will happen tomorrow, It may be good or it might be worse hell I can't tell you what will happen in the next five minutes, for all my lack of seeing the future a speeding meteor might bust in here and kill me in the next hour and burn this house down,or I might buy a lotto ticket and win enough to do some good with it,or my back might miraculously heal itself.. You never know.. Uncertainty is what there is..ahead.Fort some uncertainty causes anxiety it feels like a free fall, to me it is an inescapable reality. Trauma burns it into you that NOTHING is certain..
Some people are so insecure with uncertainty they don't want wisdom they want certainty, in an existence where that particular thing is in very short supply but many manipulative con men get ahead or elected(selected)by faking certainty. They call it CONfidence..

16. I wish you strength, and your brother healing
On Wednesday, a man my husband has been friends with for over 40 years will have brain surgery. He has a tumor, the doctors think it's lymphoma, and the tumor has grown up into his brain stem. They said they will not be able to remove all of it. He will have a series of radiation therapy later.

We will be at the hospital with his wife on Wednesday, so that she won't have to face this ordeal alone. Her sister is flying in from England to be with them. He now acts like a person with Alzheimer's, because he forgets things so quickly, and gets upset and agitated very easily. His own siblings declined to donate blood for him. His blood type is about 3% of the population. I've told his wife that if he needs blood, I will be glad to donate. My blood type is slightly less than 1% of the population.

All we dan do, Mosey, is to be there for our loved ones, be they family or friends. My husband and I will do anything to help our friend and his wife through this ordeal. She, and you, are going through very difficult times. My heart goes out to you, because what you're doing must be very, very difficult. I pray that your brother, and our friend, recover fully. If not, I pray that you, and our friend's wife will be blessed with the strength to carry on.
