DU does make a difference!

There was no exaggeration when I said there was nothing here for Christmas. Due to the generous donations of some dear friends here at DU we had our celebration when Hubby finally made it home last weekend. On Sunday we had a thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings and the kids got their presents.

Thanks to those who donated my kids had a wonderful and surprising holiday. I want to let everyone know that DU does make a difference to so many people whether it's giving to charity or personal donations to DU members and their families.

I would have posted this last week, but due to a death in the family and the long travel time we didn't get home until yesterday. Here are a few pictures of those gifts given to my kids. Some were bought with funds donated for them. We also got a few amazon gift certificates and those presents didn't arrive until after had left for Montana.

I love the way DUers support each other in so many different ways. We can fight like cats and dogs here sometimes, but when the rubber meets the road, DUers come together in a way that is breathtaking to behold.
