New Democratic Presidental polling for New Hampshire by Zogby
Obama Takes His First Lead in New Hampshire: Zogby Add to Hotlist

by Jonathan Singer, Thu Jan 18, 2007 at 02:42:44 PM EST
Following up on his polling yesterday that showed that showed John Edwards maintaining a double-digit lead among likely Iowa caucus-goers, pollster John Zogby (with the normal caveats about Zogby, his results and his methodology) follows up with a survey of likely New Hampshire primary voters.

Democrats, 1/15-17/2006, MoE +/- 4.5
Candidate Support
Obama 23
Clinton 19
Edwards 19
Kerry 5
Clark 3
Biden 3
Kucinich 1
Richardson 1
Biden 1
Unsure 22

These numbers appear to be in the right ballpark, with a three-way race between Obama, Clinton and Edwards developing in the Granite State while other candidates struggle to break free from the clutter. In fact the results aren't too dissimilar to those found by American Research Group back in December, though Senator Clinton's numbers are a bit lower in this poll than ARG's. This is, of course, not to say that others will not emerge as contenders; in fact, I'd be at least somewhat surprised if not one of the candidates currently polling in the low single digits does not top 10 percent in polling this year. But for now, this looks like a three-way contest with none of the frontrunners having a decisive edge as of yet.

1. Where's Dodd Rank?
Unlike many of the others, he's actually declared.

Not that I would vote for him.

No, I'm torn between Edwards, Obama and Richardson.
