Do you? He is so far and away the worst, that he makes the bad ones look like statesmen. That's my opinion, anyway. Harding, Fillmore, Reagan, Nixon, Buchanan - I do not deny my low opinion of many. But this guy - this inarticulate buffoon, who I think actually believes he was chosen by God, when he was in fact chosen by Karl Rove and Dick Cheney - this is an embarrassment to our nation, to the world and to humanity. (If this doesn't put me in the camps, I don't know what will).

2. FLASH BACK! Love Mr. Natural!
I feel the same way. He is not a president, we was cheating and appointed and we all know it. He is a liar and a criminal of the highest degree, they all are.

I would be happy to share the camp with you :).

4. I will peel potatoes for you, in the camps.
I will be honored to share my tattered blanket and my smuggled-in copy of the Constitution and the Gettysburg Address with you around the small campfire we are allowed. All you need is love. Love is all you need.

6. Ya know
you almost made me cry. I'm not certain if it is the awful reality of our lives or the thought of at least being with people who think and care. It might be a little better than living in Kansas?

8. Blackbirds singing in the dead of night. Take this broken wing. . .
. . .and learn to fly. You were only waiting for this moment to arrive. You were only waiting for this moment to be free.
Where you live isn't as important as how you live. The awful reality is that this is it. But that's not awful; awful things happen, but that's life, and we sometimes miss the wonder of life around us. It's an occasion to celebrate, every day. And I am no soppy sentimentalist. This is it. So Fight the Power, smell the roses, hold tight to those to whom you are close, enjoy your books, let a dog kiss you, eat some ice cream, be patient with a screaming kid. Life is awful. Life is wonderful. Life is predictable. Life is surprising. Be of good cheer. I like Kansas, myself. Wondrous stories are told there, I have heard.

favorite songs! Also one of my favorite stories and movies.

I kiss my dogs on the lips, yes I do. My horses lick my ears. My cats groom me and my kids and husband love me. There is great joy in my life and many hours outdoors where I feel great peace.

Kansas is a great place. The people are good people but very misguided these days except for my wonderful DU friends here. It really is Oz and that is not necessarily bad. :hi: and thanks.

Edit to add... If I were king of the forest!

11. You are blessed. And I am glad.
Off to bed now; way past my bedtime. My best to your dogs, cats, husband, children. You are fortunate - and so are they. Next time you get down about Kansas or Bush, give yourself a kick for me. You have already explained why. Congratulations, and may your birthdays go on interminably.
