Incredibly Bad Press for Diebold...From Coast to Coast...
No, Seriously, Really Bad...

Diebold continues to run their previously good name into the ground, as the Mainstream Media finally begins to notice what's been going on around here...Finally, the unAmerican Voting Machine Company who originally brung you the War on Democracy, seems to be getting the incredibly bad press they've always deserved...Now from coast to coast...

5. Encouraging.
I've always wondered how, if you were a proponent of these machines, would you prove that they were accurate?
What on earth could be the excuse for paperless electronic gizmos?
Perhaps looming more Hughely in my mind;
Why do the smug repugs in favor of these machines today feel so confident the little
voting toasters will never be used against them? Is that just not conceivable?

10. I think they already have been used against them
thats why I don't understand the SILENCE from Dems and Repugs on this issue. You have to ask, Who is running this country?

13. The $64 dollar question. Who's REALLY in charge?

I know it's not we citizen schmucks who live in the U.S. and argue with each other over flag burning, dead babys, the personal lives of gays, who's the most patriotic,
OJ and Michael Jackson, runaway bride, missing blondes in Belize, why the Sea-hawks sucked so bad, three strikes law, death penalty, mexican immigration, freedom fries,
yellow ribbons, the bumper sticker wars, the pledge of allegiance, medical marijuana, medicare part D etc.
No, it's not us. It the group that keeps us all arguing with each other while they rake in the wealth of the country.

6. I hope Diebold gets all the press it deserves
And that Americans across the nation realize they've been duped.

Elections should not be run by private companies.

Election results should be available for citizens to inspect and dispute.

This is the only way we can ensure an honest, accurate reflection of the desires of American citizens.

Anything less is not democracy.

9. am I just clueless here..
I don't see anywhere that the MSM has begun to notice this. One blog on the internet is NOT going to wake up the American public.

11. Yes, you're clueless...
Had you read the story originally linked here, you'd have seen links to three different MSM stories from yesterday alone.

Add to that the AP story out late last night (http://www.bradblog.com/archives/00002466.htm) and the continuing traction these stories are now getting from the MSM, and you'll find that your comment about "one blog on the internet" is simply foolish.

And there is much more to come from the MSM, btw...Stay tuned.

14. Thanks, bostonbabs...

The kind words are greatly appreciated. And remembered from time to time in the middle of the night, while plowing through all of this stuff, and wondering what the heck I'm doing here.

Good to be reminded that it's making a difference out there.

When the MSM finally returns, I get to retire! :-)

Until then, please keep spreading the word! We're all we've got!
