A photo of an Iraqi boy seen from a bullet-riddled mosque window

An Iraqi boy is seen from a bullet-riddled window of Abi Ayoub al-Ansari mosque in northeast of Baghdad. US President George W. Bush said that Iraq faced "a moment of choosing" amid fears of civil war spurred by the bombing of a Shiite shrine but said he was hopeful about the country's future.(AFP/Ali Yussef)

2. One day, he will learn how to hate people.
A war-torn environment is no place for children to grow up. He will grow up to hate Americans. If he is a Sunni, then his environment will teach him to hate Shi'ites. If he is a Shi'ite, then his environment will teach him to hate Sunnis.

3. 1200 year old mosque was destroyed this week. Not sure if that's
the same one the child is in. Real proud to be an american. Yes, * did a great thing. He certainly will go down in history. I wonder if there will be anything left in Iraq when they finally get "peace".

4. What's this little boy supposed to CHOOSE?
How can someone be so checked out of reality at * seems to be?

Also, does the little boy's shirt say, "fun?" How ironic.

6. Poignant indeed.
His shirt says "fun", which is what children are supposed be having a lot of. I doubt that many Iraqi children have had much fun since the invasion & occupation.

This nightmere just gets worse & worse.

7. This breaks my heart
Once I became a mom, I became a mom to all children.

Dear God, please stop the warmongering criminal we call Bush.
