Taking fear and paranoia to an extreme

An airline passenger with the words "suicide bomber" written in his journal was arrested when his plane arrived in San Jose, California, on Wednesday, but the words appeared to refer to music, the FBI said

That's what gets me paranoid...

2. "ON" the journal.

The article says that fellow passengers saw the words written on the journal, presumably on the cover, that he was carrying a backpack, and acting "suspiciously" (subjective observation from fearful, paranoid passengers?).

I guess, given all those circumstances, detaining the man to check him out was only prudent.

Anybody dumb enough to carry something with "suicide bomber" written on it in an airport deserves to be detained.
