...so WTF happened to that?? Why are they dying in Iraq instead of helping secure out ports?!

2. this was BEFORE they were sent to Iraq -

that is the point. They didn't help secure the ports - they went to Iraq. Now we have this huge port security issue and no reserves there, like he promised.
