The autistic basketball player from feel-good story of last week...
has received 25 movie offers already, his mother said. CBS News with Bob Shieffer had an update on the story. He is now a hero at the school and has been signing autographs for the other students. They went further into details about how he come to be at the school. It was a very good story.

3. When that clip came out I watched 5 times and bawled all the way
though it every time.. I think it would make a great movie.. Plus, I think it would go a long ways towards raising awareness about autism.. I'm welling up just thinking about it.. God, I'm such a softy..

4.  Hi everyone !
I am so excited !! My kid was in this segment. I got a call from his teacher today,She said watch cbs news cause your son will be on. He is in the spec.ed program at Greece Athena H.S. and the senior basketball player Steven K. was working with him during gym class. I am so proud of the students at Greece Athena H.S.,they really are accepting of children of disabilities. Thanks for this segment on cbs news and Steve Hartman for doing this follow up story also, with all the horrible news today this was so up lifting !

8. The great thing is
I don't think you get goosebumps and misty eyed from the kid making the baskets.

I think it's because of the way the fans and his teammates react.

They just went absolutely nuts, and it had nothing to do with winning a game.

I have a little cousin who's autistic, and it gives me hope.

9. That's the part that makes it so wonderful
All the fans and both teams went crazy. What a wonderful community and school.

I saw your son, Despondent!. You must be so proud and for good reason.

10. Wow, this is too cool
God, we need more stories like this! Sometimes, I get sooooo depressed when I come here (several times a day) what with all the bullshit and lies. It really helps to , every once in a while, have a good thing to close the day out.
