with any attempts to appear to be distancing themselves from an unpopular president. They should have done that before we got mired in a quagmire in Iraq. They should have done that before we went $3 trillion dollars more in debt. They should have done that before they passed the disastrous Medicare "reform" bill. They should have done that before all our jobs were shipped overseas. So now, they want to say they are standing up to this unpopular president? That dog won't hunt.

This was a puny effort to save this fall's elections. But who knows, the Republicans have a core group who so identify with the name of their party, they would vote for criminals and aliens. OOPS, perhaps they already have. We already know about the criminals. ;)
