Many of the inside DC press corps knew Rove was part of outing Plame and attacking Wilson since mid2003, yet they stayed silent about his guilt and allowed the WH to benefit from their denials and continue to allow the trashing of Wilson and his credibility.

They heralded Rove's genius and Bush's integrity throughout the entire election cycle and beyond. Wilson and Kerry were trashed as liars and exaggerators.

When Rove does get indicted, let's not forget the UNINDICTED CO-CONSPIRATORS....the DC press corps, and ESPECIALLY, the broadcast media whores who abetted him every step of the way - Russert, Matthews, Mitchell,Blitzer, Zahn, et al.

My own hope is that the "Internet Liberal Dem Media" will get "their turn" and can replace the sychophantic whores that are out there today. But, I've always been too optimistic for my own good.

I'd love to see Josh Marshall's "Muckraker" Site go MAINSTREAM and bring along Conason, Lyons, Alterman, Waas and the rest of the team that was there with us since Clinton...but...I'm ONLY DREAMIN'. :-(
