Breaking... I just got the decision I spoke of back in Nov.

The election of our local officers had some bumps along the way last Fall. You may remember I was third for VP in a 3 way race. I was 4 votes short of first place. I was two less than second. It was that close. In the run off of the top two, some mistakes were made in the process. After I raised questions about the process, a final canvasing was conducted. Incorrectly thrown out ballots were now counted. Every vote counted! It came down to a ONE vote difference. An appeal was filed by the loser to the international on solid rules grounds about simple majority plus one calculation and other mistakes. I represented the appeal and fought for the rules and a new election between the top two again.

I don't have the written decision in hand. I do know the appeal has just been denied. It can be appealed, but it won't be.
