Fear of job loss is greater now than when the recession began. Jesse Russell has more.

With the unemployment rate stagnant, one in four U.S. workers are worried about being laid off. That’s according to a new poll by Gallup that also found 39 percent of workers are concerned their benefits will be cut. That number is only down slightly from the same time last year when 31 percent were worried about being laid off. This time in 2008 only 15 percent were concerned that they could lose their jobs in the future. Low-income workers are the most concerned about losing their jobs. 30 percent of those who earn less than $50,000 per year are concerned about becoming unemployed while 25 percent who make between $50,000 and $100,000 share that fear.

1. Well, duh.
No offense, Steve, but is someone surprised by this?

I'm horrified by what so many in this country and much of the world are going through. Sadly, I don't think it's going to end anytime soon.

2. The stuff revolutions are made of?
Marx can only hope.
