Verizon striking workers to return to work 8/22

Just got an email from an inside source, CWA & IBEW workers are returning to work under the terms of the contract that expired, while negotiations continue.

Only update so far is sparse..

Thanks to our unity and public support for bargaining rights, striking Verizon
workers will return to work on Tuesday with the contract back in force and
bargaining restructured. There will be a member update call on Sunday at 11 am EDT.

2. Good news, I hope

But when the company threatens to cut off benefits after 30 days, people start waffling on staying on strike. Hopefully this isn't unilateral by CWA and there is some movement at the table.
