15. I'm sure she meant "the Clinton campaign team".
Let's not dice up every syllable a person utters. It gets silly.

Yes, I always dreamed my 4th and 5th choices would be fighting it out tooth and nail for the nomination, seeing how close they could come to snatching defeat form the jaws of certain victory.

Dream Ticket, my ass.

7. I think she was.
I'm no Pelosi fan these days, but that comment was pretty dead on. Hillary shot down any chance of a so called "dream ticket" all on her own.

23. That was my take.
And its the first time in months that I liked what Pelosi had to say. Clinton has done herself no favors with the McCain comments last week.

25. no
i doubt it. shes not on the list, and i think she knows it. besides, one would have to do much more than that to get a VP offer, don't you think? pelosi is a democrat and what clinton said harmed the democratic party. even if you like clinton you have to admit that.

12. Clinton Administration, lol, but still....
this is the first thing she's said in about a year that I've heard that I cheered her for. Clinton will NEVER get past the McCain praise - he's the one we're running AGAINST, what a moronic (helpful) thing to do!

22. Kissing McCain's butt
is not that popular with the Supers, eh?

I guess I don't have enough experience to figure out how endorsing the Republican candidate helps secure the number of superdelegates the Clintons require. Of course, they only need like...100% of the outstanding supers...

26. Wow
very telling-this is the first insight we have as to how the McCain is more experienced crap went over to the uncommitted super delegates-good news for the Obama campaign-VERY VERY good news I'd say. Any hope by the CC that would be able to steal this election by persuading the SD's pretty much just flew out the window with this statement-good for you Nancy and good for us true blue DEMOCRATS

18. Sounds like the "dream ticket" idea is dead. About time!
And this also is a big slap to the Clinton race going into PA in over a month. Hopefully she will just Endorse Obama fully and be done with it.

20. My thoughts exactly !!! Inconceivable proposition at this point.
Hillary and Bill have made it crystal clear that they plan to continue to torpedo Barack and praise the opposition party's nominee, so that even if Barack were to win the nomination, that McCain would win the general election for president. This way Hillary would only have to wait 4 years for her next opportunity to run again. She and Bill both know that if Obama is elected president that it will most likely by a long 8 year wait before Hillary can give it another shot. That's why they have implemented and continue to use their kitchen sink strategy. It's sad really when you think about it. Hang in there Barack ! What doesn't kill us makes us stronger. :patriot:

21. Would the VP not run?
You assume that Obama's VP doesnt take a shot at the presidency after Obama's two terms are up. Could it be Edwards or Richardson? One of those tickets would be the dream ticket for me. Forget this talk of a ticket with Hillary on it (in the event that she doesn't get the nomination.) Obama/Edwards or Obama/Richardson 2008! If Hillary wins then the only ticket I would find acceptable would be Clinton/Edwards.

Hell... Democrat/Democrat 2008!!!

29. I really don't think Edwards would be VP
I suppose it's a possibility, but he was pretty firm on that a few months ago that he would not be the VP candidate this time round.

I think he'd make a fine AG or Supreme Court Justice, however, Edwards ran too good a campaign and got too much traction with voters to fade off of the national scene.

27. Amen. She can't endorse Gramps, and then offer the VP to the front runner.
HRC's making no sense, but remember that Pelosi wouldn't have said that if she thought HRC had a chance to grab the white house.

I think that was the clearest indication of what's ahead that I've seen. There will be no last minute Gwenevere rescue for HRC. She either gets off the woodpile, or she goes up in flames.
