3. If you know what the markets will do in advance, you're an insider...
and insider trading is illegal (unless you're a member of the untouchable elite such as the BFEE).

One thing is certain, predictions on TV or in financial newsletters are for the "little guys", in other words, SUCKERS like you and me.

5. In defense of Cramer ...
... he was not referring to Bear Stearns stock, but money that the emailer had in a Bear Stearns bank account -- thus the references to "liquidity" and "they'll probably just be taken over."

Obviously Cramer was way off the mark on Stearns not being in trouble, but he was right, in the short-term, in regards to their being bailed out.

7. In defense of Cramer
He's a blithering idiot. He can't help it. And anybody who would sit in front of a teevee and watch that crap act on what that moron says deserves the consequences.

8. On that we can agree.
My only exposure to him is when his more outrageous clips turn-up on other shows. I'd certainly be wary of taking advice from someone so seemingly off.

6. Time to write "Oh Yeah, Volume 2"
I remember from a history book about the Great Depression that someone sold a nasty little pamplet entitled Oh Yeah, which had quotes from all the rich and powerful about how strong and invulnerable was the American economy and business. I think it's time to publish a new copy of that pamplet, this time featuring the words of Bush and Company, and especially this Cramer jerk.

9. Cramer was talking about having money invested in Bear
Not having money in Bear stock. Bear is an investment firm and the money invested there is protected.

He was not talking about buying or selling Bear stock.

10. Sometimes a slip reveals the internal framing orders...
It seems to me there are orders in place on how to report certain things, just note how she slips up and then is flailing to correct herself:
It is pain across the board and as you know, it all emenates from the sub... well... the shock this weekend...

Seems to me they are not allowed to mention "subprime" or connect this to it.
