I saw a clip of him not too long ago, and when the black female anchor asked a critical question about the subject (I forget who exactly it was) the guy answers "don't be a hater!" like that was supposed to carry weight with her. It was such an absurd and immature non-sequitor, and I felt bad for the anchor having to answer to that, it was belittling to both of them. It showed me that guy doesn't have a lot of substance.

16. "Bearings" have two meanings.

When Obama says that McCain is losing his bearings, I think he means losing his sense of direction.

Lieberman seems to be talking about it in the mechanical way, which doesn't make any sense and instead seems really gross.

...a sweeter thing could not be imagined. Now consider though, that the media punditry is right in that Obama will likely lose support of old (really old) white people to McCain that Hillary would not. But the McCain/Lieberman ticket. OMG, that would be like the geriatric ticket from hell. And the GOP, already not overly thrilled with McCain, having to vote for the same guy they ceaselessly called "Loserman" 8 short years ago. Plus, there's the added bonus of watching white supremists the nation over have their heads explode choosing to vote for a) the ticket with the african american and _____ or the ticket with b) old guy #1 and a jewish man as #2. They'd be so consumed with confusion, do they vote for (a) and hope the VP somehow ascends, or do they vote (b) and be perpetually terrified that shadowy Mossad agents are waiting to push McCain down to a florida retirement home...

A McCain/Lieberman ticket would be a gift that may just make me believe in a god.
