1. Is it legal to alter videotaped quotes?
The opening line was never spoken by Michelle Obama.

6. I think the word 'really' was used in
one speech and not in another on the same day.

In context I think her statements, with or without the word 'really', are valid.

would start with the version that wasn't dubbed. Oh yeah...that wouldn't have the same effect. These people are clueless.

7. The twist is taking proud of her country, not proud to be an American.
She has said she meant with voting participation in any event.

11. There IS a big difference.

I'm not running for anything. I will tell you though, that I am ASHAMED of my government today. Does that make me evil? I think our reputation around the world is deplorable. Does that make me "un-American"?

Wake up morons. I am proud to be an American. I fought in our military and watched young men die around me...dedicated to our country, and I was proud to be an American then too. I traveled all over Europe, east and west, and I was proud to be an American. I am getting to be an old man now, and I am STILL proud to be an American.

But I am ashamed of my government today. I am upset with our reputation around the world as a result of our exploitation of the rest of the world with our "capitalistic ventures", and we have to admit our short comings too.

We have done much good around the world, to be sure. We have also been directly responsible for death and destruction around the world in recent years, and we need to be aware of reality as well.

12. Fuck the Washington State Republican Party.
There, I freely expressed myself. I hope all of these "patriots" are proud of me...

14. These are the same idiots that think a magnetic ribbon makes them "patriotic".
Such a joke. Flags in the rear window, magnetic ribbons on the trunk..these are the idiots that think that they are more American than the rest of us. We are JUST as American. It just that we want our America to be something to be proud of again.

The repug/fascist party is dead and rotting. Those left hanging don't even know what their party stands for anymore...most of them. Those that do are fascist pigs, and they are the enemies of our country and our Constitution.

These idiots pledging the flag or telling just "how proud they are to be Americans" are idiots. They couldn't even tell you what those words in the pledge really mean. It's just a "magnetic ribbon" or a flag in the back window to them.

freely express themselves however they wish;"

Anyone catch the irony there?

17. King County G.O.P., I didn't know such a thing could be real.
I can't stop watching this. Not for the laugh/shock value of this, but rather the way these Republofacists are so clearly reading of a card (note the eye movement). I mean if they are going to spew garbage like this, they might as well learn the memorize the "message". What upsets me is that living in Washington, more exactly Eastern Washington, I am surrounded by people who constant rely on this kind of propaganda.
