have really stressed middle-class families. It was interesting to hear from these eloquent citizens how they have been affected.

3. I was a single mother starting in 1974.

I lived through Reagan's 80's. Thank god, I had good skills as a legal secretary. But when I got my child support check, I just endorsed the whole thing over to the daycare center. I honestly don't know how people are surviving now. This is worse, much worse, than the Reagan years. Not only are we a third world country economically, but our civil liberties are just plain gone. So, it's a double whammy.
