4. Paid desk duty
while it is being "investigated" by the same department that tazed him. Unless there is serious pressure from the public not much will happen to the pigs that did this. Plenty of white people get beat up by pigs every day in this country. It is a "law enforcement can do no wrong" while "civilians are always lying" attitude that many seem to have in this country.

The added insult in this case(and every other police brutality case) is that the people that live in that county will end up paying for the stupidity of the pigs that did this to that kid through the civil case that will follow any criminal case that may take place.

Why don't pigs like this have to pay the fines themselves?
If someone else had to pay any fines you incurred while on the job how careful would you be compared with how careful you would be if you had to pay the fine?

3. The cops in the Ozarks--- Have they no sense of shame?
How could they think they could report obvious lies about someone with a broken back and foot threatening them?

5. Federal quality control
The U.S. needs to have MUCH more oversight of local law enforcement agencies. If there was a federal agency that could move in, suspend all cops involved in an incident, including their chain of command and internal affairs whitewashers, hold them up to some national standards of human rights and decency, and dismiss those found lacking, it would be a start. Federal oversight is the only way to break the good old boy network where no one speaks up against someone else on his own department.

8. Man, what is WITH the cops and the tasers?
Have they been doing other stuff like this all along (the bad apples -- I know not all cops do this crap) but now that they're using tasers that's what's getting the press?

:scared:

9. Don't we have some drs on this site?
How well can you move with a broken back?

My guess is they tased him when he "refused" an order to move. Then he probably started to respond, as anyone would with profanities, etc. in response to pain from tasing. Vicious cycle.
