2. In describing the state of Ohio's economy, Strickland never slammed the Republicans
despite the fact that the state had come off 16 straight years of Republican governors before Strickland was elected in 2006; the Republicans had controlled both houses of the state legislature, elected cabinet posts and state supreme court for the past 12-14 years.

You know damned well if the roles had been reversed, the Republican governor would have spent the entire three minutes of that interview doing nothing but ripping the Democrats for the mess we're in.

God forbid if Blackwell had been elected governor instead of Strickland.

3. Ted Strickland got his message across...
He is also leading the Ohio House and Senate republicans by the nose and is getting some things done. If he plays dirty politics he could see some resistance in getting his agenda done. On the other hand Strickland does not play low ball. That is why is approval ratings are so high in the state and everyone can see where Blackwell got with his dirty politics in '06, he lost by a landslide!
